| This Gobelin style
tapestry is made of a tight, fine-stitch weave. This is the same type of
weave that was practiced by the famous "manufacture de Gobelin."
Jacquard woven in France, Park and Ducks portrays a variety of birds
flying against a backdrop of a flowing waterfall, ancient ruins and rich
vegetation. As we pan across the tapestry, we see a Renaissance castle, a
bridge fashioned out of stone, and lush foliage. Ducks and a lovely swan
adorn the tapestry as well. |
